YO SOY!

So who am I?

This is going to be an ever-evolving answer but I have some core things that I highly doubt will ever change.

I am (or YO SOY in Spanish)

I am
.......5'6 or 5'7 with torso leg proportion. I have many tall people in my family and get my height mostly from my Mother's side. My uncles are tall and my dad is tall as well.So nice heights run in my family and while I'm not extraordinarily tall, I'm definitely above average.

.......a December baby that was suppose to be born in January. I was actually born the day after Christmas. My mother says that I was suppose to be born in January, but since I enjoy marching to the beat of my own drum then the choice to come in January was to be defied.

.......a travelista. I get this travel bug from my grandmother who has been almost everywhere. Now I've been on cruises (which counts for .5 points) and took my first trip to Thailand for a little while but there are so many other places I want to go. Since I haven't been able to afford to travel much and I'm too old for 'family vacation, I find that Globe Trekker is sufficient.

.......a splendid table, this american life, all things considered, 60minutes, fresh air, story corps and The Moth podcast junkie.

.......a bookworm. Always have been, always will be. My favorite childhood book was Horton Hears a Who. It was the first time I was able to fully understand God. I knew as a child that something or someone is out there listening. My favorite adult book is Illequipped for a Life of Sex. This is when I found out I was a human being (a natural one at that)!

.......sensitive. I get goosebumps and the shivers. I can smell an argument a mile away. I know when someone is lying or a cheat. I can feel when something good is about to happen. I know when to apologize.

.......usually always happy, smiling, or telling a joke and laughing at it.

.......afraid of heights, needles, bumble bees, outside of the building elevators, mascots, big mean dogs, being lost, and being out in the middle of an ocean on jet skis.

thats who i am...who I will be to you is something different.
